Tommy Jack Stacy

Big Stone Gap, Virginia Tommy Jack Stacy left this earth March 1 2016 and entered into his eternal life. He was surrounded by his family. Tommy was a coal miner for many years. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Hokie fan. He loved watching his grandchildren compete in sporting events. He loved going to the beach and having outdoor cookouts with his family and friends. His favorite holidays were celebrating the 4th of July and Christmas. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Kathern Stacy; Brothers Jimmy, Benny, & Bill Stacy; brother in law Fred Mabe; Mother in law Peggy Holcomb. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Jenny Jo Stacy; His 5 beloved daughters and son in laws, Michelle & Adam Page, Rebekah & Michael Christian, Brandee & Terry Dillman, Ashley & David Mabe, Brittanee & Tanner McCowan. He had 13 grandchildren that were his pride and joy Tristan, Brittany, Bryce, Emily, Gracee, James Ray, Jenna, Sarah, Gracie Mae, Kaleb, Kaden, Peyton, & Mylee; his brothers Clyde (Kathy), Ronnie (Billie), Johnny, Randy, and Jeff (Katherine) Stacy; sisters include Doris (Billy) Sandidge, Mary (Amos) Rhoten, Brenda (Johnny) McFarland, and Phyllis Mabe; Tommy’s father in law Elmer Holcomb; brother in law Gene (Dianna) Holcomb; three sister in laws Helen and Faye Stacy and Jane Cox; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 7 pm Friday, March 4th at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tony Nunley. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm before services. The family would like to extend great gratitude to Dr. Wes Campbell and Tony Nunley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Andover Community Church or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his honor.
