Appalachia, Virginia Eulice Ray Ball (1937 - 2014), 76, a lifelong resident of Appalachia, VA. He passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center. Ray was employed by N & S Railroad for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Ball; four stepchildren, Allen, Mark, Cody, and Rachael; Quinton Wilson, his grandson whom he loved very much; other relatives and close friends that he kept close to his heart. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Gary Swinney. Burial will follow in the American Legion Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Marty Bush, Sr., Marty Bush Jr., Joe Roberts Sr., Cody Thompson, Mark Thompson, and Rex Wilson. Roy A Green Funeral Home, Appalachia is in charge of arrangements..
