Exeter, Virginia Carlos “Jack” Estep, age 73 passed away at home on Monday, December 3, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. He was born September 28, 1939 in Stonega, VA. After graduating from Big Stone Gap he joined the Air Force and spent many years traveling the US and returned to Southwest Virginia for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father Carlos Matthew Estep. He is survived by two daughters, Sherri and Samantha; his mother, Mary Belle Estep of Keokee, VA; brother, Gary Estep of Keokee, VA; sister, Lynnette Daniels of Goshen, OH; he was also dearly loved and will be missed by a host of nephews, nieces, grandnephews and nieces and special friends. Military graveside services will be conducted at 12 noon, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Roy A.
